Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has firmly stated that her husband will not seek revenge after his release. She emphasized that Imran Khan’s principles are deeply rooted in the teachings of Islam. According to her, pursuing revenge after gaining power would be a serious mistake and goes against the will of Allah. "Revenge will never be sought," she added, explaining that Imran Khan's political approach is based on forgiveness and compassion.
In response to accusations that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has incited violence, especially with the controversial slogan “al-Jihad al-Jihad” used by some supporters, Bushra Bibi made it clear that the PTI leadership has never encouraged such actions. She explained that these slogans stem from the emotions of the people, not from any official direction by the party.
Bushra Bibi also addressed the ongoing political crisis in Pakistan, highlighting the difference between Imran Khan's vision and the current rulers' priorities. She stated that while the country’s leaders are focused on maintaining their hold on power, Imran Khan remains committed to securing "real freedom" for the people of Pakistan. According to her, this goal of true liberation for the citizens of the country is at the core of his political vision and mission.
